Hello there,

 

I was born in Los Angeles, CA and in 2006, at the age of 14, my family moved to San Antonio in search of a new home. I hated the idea of moving.  I knew I would be leaving friends I grew up with, as well as most of my family. They say hindsight is 20/20 and looking back it was a much needed change of pace and a blessing in disguise. I have grown to love San Antonio, don’t get me wrong, I still can’t acclimate to the humid summers and during those few months I wish desperately I could move somewhere else for a little while…

 

My nuclear family consists of: Javier, two little momma’s boys (Eliel and Levi Mateo), and three four-legged furry’s (Gaea, Kronos & Rockie)! Lovingly I’ve dubbed us the Gonzalez 7. You can imagine evening walks are an adventure from start to finish! I’m having fun though, and I really wouldn’t change it for the world, even though some days I get really tired of finding Legos under the couch, fur balls in random corners of the house, and muddy paws all over my tile.

 

I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from UTSA in 2015 and am looking to pursue a masters in business administration sometime in the near future. I have always liked the challenge of learning something new, that is what brought me into the world of business. I was brought onto team Empower as a marketing intern in the summer of 2015 and now take care of all the branding, marketing & client relations efforts for the company.

 

I’m also a big fan of adventures, so I often try to dabble in new things. I like spending time outdoors. I enjoy running and have a goal to someday run a major marathon. If you’ve got any tips, I’m all ears!
