FAQs

Do We Provide Investment Management?

Yes! Investment management is built into all of our journeys. We also offer investment management only, but that will not include the use of any of the planning softwares. We will meet annually, or on an as-need basis to review your investment portfolio, make recommendations, and execute trades.

What Are the Pricings Per Service Level?

Hill Country: Onboard fee - $ 900. Monthly fee - $58*

Sierra: Onboard fee - $ 2,500. Monthly fee - $175**

Everest: Onboard fee - $4,600. Monthly fee - $391**

The onboard fee covers the initial cost of setting up the accounts and software's needed to initiate any planning.

*the monthly fee is continuous. **monthly fee is only charged during months that any planning services are provided.

Are Service Levels Customizable?

Unfortunately, no. Our plans were built to provide the most streamlined planning experience possible. We keep our process transparent so you don't pay for services you don't need. If you feel you might sit somehwere in between two plans, we'll review the plans together at your introductory meeting and help figure out which may fit best for your current situation. Our plans are built to help you move onto the next level, so if you start with Hill Country we can always move you up to Sierra when the time is right.

What is a Fiduciary Advisor?

A Fiduciary is someone who is obligated to work in the best interest of his or her client independently of any compensation. When managing your assets, we act as a fiduciary. All of our full time wealth advisors are required to become accredited investment fiduciaries to maintain the integrity of our brand. That means any advisor, or advisor's assistant that you work with is working together with you to find the best products and solutions to fit your goals and financials not our "bottom-line."

Are We Commission or Fee Based?

Yes and No. We are a fee-based practice when we manage your advisory accounts. Meaning our revenue comes from management fees, regardless of what types of stocks or funds are purchased in your account. We receive a commission when writing Life Insurance products or mutual funds . Remember though, we are fiduciaries, so we aren't here to make a hard sale on the highest paying product. We're here to help you find the best fit for your goals.

What Types of Products Do We Sell?

We work with an independent Broker-Dealer, Commonwealth Financial Network. We are not obligated to sell only Fidelity, NY Life, or Securian products. This allows us a broad range of options to help our clients find the best rates and premiums to fit their unique needs.
